Today’s Art (16th August 2015)

Well, I was in the mood for some gloomy gothic art and, since it’s near the end of festival season – I thought that I’d make a vaguely 1980s/90s-style gloomy gothic festival painting (originally, the weather was going to be slightly brighter, but well, that’s just not my style). Surprisingly, this painting took about twice as long to make as most of my paintings do – although I’m really proud of how it turned out.

In fact, as a blog exclusive, I’ll also provide the “work in progress” lineart for this painting too.

As usual, both of the pictures in this post are released under a Creative Commons BY-NC-ND licence.
