Well, as you can probably guess, today’s quick digital art is a replacment for the painting I’d originally made for bonfire night tonight. This was mostly because the original painting was a badly-drawn silhouette of Guy Fawkes, which just looked absolutely terrible.
So much so, that I was willing to spend a while making this low-res retro digital art instead – because it still looked better. And, yes, it took a lot of trial and error to get right. In fact, I actually had to use a variant on my “fake pixel art” technique to salvage the picture at one point.
