Today’s Art (4th January 2017)

Well, it’s a new year and it’s time for a new webcomic mini series! As such, I’m very proud to present the fourth comic in “Damania Resolute” 🙂 If you want to see more comics featuring these characters, lots of them can be found on this page.

Before anyone says anything, I know that Van Gogh was Dutch rather than French. Likewise, I know from personal experience that absinthe isn’t hallucinogenic (if I remember rightly, it’s the exact opposite – a strange, vivid kind of drunkneness). But, this was artistic licence.

However, the part about 19th century Britain is historical fact. Seriously, many Victorians even actually consumed alcoholic opium regularly!

As usual, this comic update is released under a Creative Commons BY-NC-ND licence.

Today’s Art (30th December 2014)

Well, after painting bright, bucolic landscapes over the past four days – I needed something of a break. So, I thought that I’d make some gothic art… in black and white, of course.

I don’t know if this will turn into yet another short art series, but it really wouldn’t surprise me…

Anyway, as usual, this drawing is released under a Creative Commons BY-NC-ND licence.
