Today’s Art (6th May 2019)

Well, due to time reasons, today’s artwork is a rather quick (and not that brilliant) monochrome drawing that is based on this photo I took of a church tower in Privett last May.

As usual, this drawing is released under a Creative Commons BY-NC-ND licence.

Today’s Art (18th January 2019)

Well, due to time and inspiration reasons, today’s artwork is a digitally-edited monochrome drawing that is loosely-based on this cropped version of a photo I took in Aberystwyth in 2009 (the photo also inspired this old painting of mine from 2014 too).

As usual, this drawing is released under a Creative Commons BY-NC-ND licence.

Today’s Art (13th September 2018)

Well, I’m still in the mood for making “film noir”-themed art and I quite like how this (heavily) digitally-edited painting turned out. Interestingly, I wasn’t sure whether to make this picture monochrome or greyscale. Originally, it was a greyscale painting. But, then I digitally converted it to monochrome. Then, whilst editing it, I used some airbrush tools – which means that whilst the painting is technically still monochrome (eg: the only colours in it are black and white), the airbrush effects give the impression of a greyscale picture.

As usual, this picture is released under a Creative Commons BY-NC-ND licence.
